A day full of love and family, Serene and Phil happened to book AirBnb’s for the morning that were on the same property! What a laugh that was! The tea ceremony in the morning is such an amazing tradition to witness and once they were done, off we went to Criffel Station for the remaining of the day!

After not being able to make their trip over for their dream Fiji wedding, Tiaan and Kes opted for somewhere closer to home but with just as much beauty. On a beautiful day in November, friends and family travelled from all over the country to celebrate their day. Ending the photoshoot with a trip up to Coromandel Peak was a highlight for the couple as they experienced their first-ever helicopter ride!

An afternoon of nasty winds had us changing our helicopter landing spot for Mavis and TG, however, the backup location happened to be the most incredible spot! With zero wind, the couple enjoyed an hour of mountain bliss with some of the best backdrops the Southern Alps has to offer!
For sunset, we drove along the basin of Mt Cook and made the 30 minute trekk to the Hooker Valley lookout point, where we were greeted with magical views of the mountains.

With a love story like no other, these two lovely souls made the choice of having their wedding at one of the most idyllic venues you could ask for! A bit of rain during the morning forced us to have the ceremony indoors, but soon after, the sun peaked through the clouds and we had the most amazing sunset shoot up the top of the hill.
